"You're tacky and I hate you." LOL.

ITS NEARLY CHRISTMAS!

The first of December.

This year has come and gone so fast but I seem to like it as I now realise I am that much closer to start a new in the year of 2011. I guess you can say im scared, the good kind of scared like when youre on a rollercoaster - not knowing what might happen can be quite frightening but its the thrill of the journey that gets you excited. (Without sounding too cliché haha!)

All of the students on the Art Foundation course at Xaverian College have just been set a really good project, in my opinion. Im so excited to get started on the portrait project, where weve been asked to produce a life size copy of yourself using any mediums or materials...this means I can research some of my favourite and well-known artists such as; Monks, Close, F.Bacon, VanGogh, Picasso... the list could go on really.

I shall be posting some more work soon, just in time for christmas :) I hope everyone does have a good christmas, even if you dont believe in it! Oh p.s the amount of snow today in Manchester is brilliant, snowball fights = BRING IT ON!

Below are some of my ART FOUNDATION digital photographs.

Some of which have been edited, however, the majority have not as I like to see what I can do without the work of a computer! All photographs fit into categories such as urban and rural areas, quick snapshots which are based on different environments, situations, the human condition and people in frames.

 

'Whelmed'

I know you can be overwhelmed... and I know you can be underwhelmed... but can you just be whelmed?
Whelmed! Its a bit like underneath.. and underside... but what's under underside? Underside could be underanywhere depending on where underneath was in the first place...

So I am Han. Current Art Student interested in...well, art.

Fine art and Photography I enjoy the most, however, I am open minded to all aspects of art within the art industry.
